Luke Scripture Assignment

Hey Girls,

You're about to learn about the language the New Testament was ORIGINALLY written in! Pretty cool, huh? See below for details!

After you finish the Luke textbook assignment, get started on this Luke scripture assignment:

2. Search for Luke 2:11 (NLT version). Click on the "C" for the Greek word and definition.

3. Find the GREEK word AND its meaning for EVERY word in this passage. (I've posted an example below).

4. Do the same for Luke 2:36-37, and Luke 2:52.

EXAMPLE:

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

For God - THEOS (The Godhead, God the Father)
So - HOUTO (In this manner, thus, so)
Loved - AGAPAO (To welcome, to entertain, to be fond of, to be well pleased)
The World - KOSMOS
That He Gave - DIDOMI
His Only - MONOGENES
Son - HUIOS
That Whoever - PAS
Believes - PISTEUO
In Him Shall Not Perish - APOLLYMI
But Have - ECHO
Eternal - AIONIOS
Life - ZOE
